An exciting opportunity has arisen within our dynamic Sales team for an Account Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Account Manager is responsible for maximising sales and increasing revenue generation through effective sales of advertising to wine producers, regional bodies, wine importers and distributors and retailers. Sales will be across all platforms including print and digital, advertorials, Decanter Awards competition, promotions, stand space at events, entries and tickets. You will ensure that the Decanter brand, reputation and position in the industry is held in the highest regard.
Portfolio countries for the successful applicant will include USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
You will need to have:
- At least 3 years experience working in the drinks industry, preferably wine
- Ability to travel for extended periods of time
- At least 3 years experience in ad sales
- Experience and/or knowledge of the US market (either through selling there or working there)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative working style
